Last week, on our trip to the library, we found a lovely bedtime story called One Sleepy Night by Sebastien Braun.
This is a really lovely gentle rhyming story perfect for little ones who have just started to enjoy turning pages. The pages are un-cluttered and the illustrations are bold.
The story follows little bear on the journey to bed – past the owl, the stream, the badgers and the fireflies.
Little bear then has a wash and snuggles up with mummy bear to go to sleep.
It is such a cute story, and we enjoy reading it together before bedtime because it’s short enough to hold Rosalie’s attention (she is 10 months old), and the words on each page can be read quick enough to keep up with her enthusiastic page turning! Sometimes we even read it twice!
*UPDATE* We loved this book so much that we bought it for Rosalie and read it nearly every night.

It's called Goodnight Little Bear http://www.amazon.co.uk/Goodnight-Little-Bear-Picture-Flats/dp/1781974721/ref=sr_1_2?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1414497807&sr=1-2&keywords=goodnight+little+bear
