#13 Fast Flapjacks with chocolate chips {Baking Bible Challenge}

Looking for something quick and easy that would keep well in a tin for a few days to last whilst my parents are visiting, I chose Mary Berry’s Fast Flapjack recipe – true to her word, it was fast!

Simply melt the butter, sugar and syrup together in a pan, stir in the oats, wait for it to cool then stir in the chocolate chips, spread into a tin and bake!

They turned out slightly chewier than the last flapjacks I made, but they certainly taste good, hopefully my guests will think so too.
