Out and about
We’ve had a pretty good week this week – starting with Sunday, after the daddy-daughter play date (see below – “Time for me”), when we had a little family trip to Dunelm Mill to choose a few presents for me(!) and we had some lunch together in the cafe. The weather was terrible so it was nice to stay under one roof!
We managed to get out and about every day again this week – Monday we went to the shops to get Christmas cards and a Christening card for my nephew. Tuesday we had Jolly Babies which was brilliant fun again, as well as the hairdressers (see below – “Time for me”). Wednesday we met J and Baby G for Messy Play at the Children’s Centre – R had brilliant fun playing in shredded paper and flour, we also attempted footprints, crayons and glitter! Thursday daddy had the day off so we all went Christmas Shopping and R had her first taste of Pizza Hut, naughty! We also got Rosalie weighed – she’s now 18lb 6oz. Friday we only popped out to pick up a package from the Post Office, but it was still some fresh air.
Unfortunately I hardly took any pictures this week. It’s tricky now Rosalie is so mobile, she just crawls away! Messy Play was hugely chaotic so not much chance for photographing, and the resulting ‘paintings’ aren’t much to look at!
Fun at home
We’ve also been wrapping some presents as we are visiting family this weekend – Rosalie seemed to be most interested in the sellotape.
I’ve made two recipes as part of my Baking Bible Challenge, Treacle Spice traybake, and Fork Biscuits. I’ve also started to plan Rosalie’s birthday party – we got some decorations and I’ve made several lists (I love a good list)!
You can also find out what we’ve been reading this week.

My happiest moment
Next week I would like to try…
Some baby suitable Christmas crafts – if there are any! I love Christmas and have to confess that I have listened to Michael Buble’s Christmas Album already…
Check out my other Happy Days posts so far and join in too.

November 30, 2014 at 1:22 pmRosalie looks so grown up climbing the stairs! She'll be running around before you know it, and then it gets really hard to pin them down for a photoshoot. π
I'm glad you had a lovely time with your friend on Sunday. A few hours of cake and tea sounds absolutely dreamy! π
As for baby friendly christmas crafts there's always hand print reindeers or footprint snow men. If you can catch R of course! Vx

Ahh, I'm jealous that you've almost finished your Christmas shopping, I've barely started!!
Hope you manage to find some baby Christmas crafts (must be some on Pinterest?!) – can't wait to see what you get up to!
