Peepo Baby! by Georgie Birkett was one of the free books we received in our Bookstart pack, and it has been popular with Rosalie since she started to enjoy lifting flaps.
The illustrations are bold and bright, and the flaps are really big making them easy for little hands to grab and lift.
First baby finds Teddy behind the blue car, then puppy in the wendy house, kitten behind the flowers, duck in the bath, and finally bunny in the bed.
Rosalie’s favourite page is “Who’s that splashing in the bath?” because she loves her baths and her rubber ducks and “peepo duck” really does make her laugh.
This book is great for pointing out every day things such as flowers, bubbles and toys, as well as colours.
What are you reading this week?

November 5, 2014 at 8:49 pmAww we got it in our bookstart bag too – I think it was Kitty's because it feels like it's been around for a while and yes it's also very well loved – I'll have to remember to look it out again for Pip π
