#46 Very Best Chocolate Fudge Cake {Baking Bible Challenge}

What better way to get back into baking after being on holiday than with a Chocolate Fudge Cake?

I wouldn’t say the actual cake is anything special, but the chocolate fudge frosting (which is also used to sandwich the cake together) is amazing! It’s literally just chocolate (150g) and double cream (150ml) heated gently over a pan of simmering water for 10 minutes; but it’s what makes this cake.

It passed the family and friends taste test, and I think it’s going to be marked up as my go-to slightly special chocolate cake recipe.
