May has been a really great month for us. We kicked it off with a little caravan holiday in Dorset and it was just what we all needed – a total break from routine and being away from home meant all those niggling chores weren’t staring us in the face. Instead we came back with a renewed vigor to continue our decluttering mission which we started over a year ago.
We’ve also had some wonderful developments from Matilda, and although I sob at how fast she’s growing, it is amazing to watch her develop and grow.
And of course, the sunshine! What a difference that has made.
This month I have been enjoying
Our caravan holiday to Dorset
Hearing Matilda’s amazing giggle
Meeting up with friends
The sunshine and feeling hot!
Getting rid of clutter
Getting back into exercise
This month Rosalie has been enjoying
Staying in a caravan
Starting ballet class
Swimming
Going to the beach and paddling in the sea
Gruffalo spotting
Having the paddling pool in the garden
Eating ice cream and ice lollies
This month Matilda has been enjoying
Giggling
Rolling over
Swimming
Grabbing at toys and rattles
Sleeping through the night in the big cot
This month Daddy has been enjoying
Making Matilda smile and laugh
Going on holiday and having a break from work
Taking Matilda for her first swim
Playing guitar
Eating ice cream
Swimming with Rosalie on holiday
So that was May. This time last year I was struggling with nausea and dealing with pregnancy anxiety and now we have our dear little Matilda Alice here with us; simply amazing.
My little family in May.
